Timothy Knapman is both writer and playwright and was cast adrift on a boat made of books when he was small, but finally made his way to Surrey where he now lives. Gwen Millward studied illustration in Edinburgh and now spends all of her time painting and writing stories for children about her favourite subject, beasts.
