TRUST ME MUM

Author(s): Angela McAllister; Ross Collins (Illustrator)

Picture Story Books

It's a big day for Ollie. For the first time he is allowed to go to the shops on his own to buy some cheese for his mum (and some sweets for himself). Although Mum warns him of many things to watch out for on the way there are some that she has just failed to mention. So when Ollie comes across a monster, a witch, bears and a pair of aliens, he has to think for himself. Ollie proves himself more than capable, after all he doesn't believe in ghosts, he can roar much more wildly than any monster and he knows the magic word is 'please' so the witch doesn't have a chance. He returns home safely with the correct change, some cheese and sweets and he reassures Mum to trust him - he CAN do things by himself.
