Re-release of a children's picture storybook, first published in 1987. Aboriginal story about Warnayarra, the Rainbow Snake. Warnayarra the Rainbow Snake visits the Aboriginal community of Lajamanu in the Northern Territory. Warnayarra comes with a terrible storm, bringing destruction to the community. The people hide, and eventually the Rainbow Snake passes. Illustrations adapted from originals painted by the Senior Boys of Lajamanu School.
