Tortoise Football

Author(s): Giles Andreae

Picture Story Books

The tortoises were playing FOOTBALL yet again. But then one tortoise kicked the ball the wrong side of the river. No tortoise knew a way to cross. Each tried, but all in vain. "It's over," wailed one. "For WITHOUT football, what reason have we left to LIVE? Oh, MISERY! Oh, ME!" But the captain shouted, "Wait! Let every tortoise help to build a TOWER." And so begins a story about TEAMWORK and FUN - a joyous little treasure for the whole family to share.
