Michael Scotto has worked as a filmmaker, a saxophone player, and an engineer’s assistant, but his true passion has always been writing. He earned a degree in Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University in 2004, and he received his MFA in Dramatic Writing there in 2007 Illustrator Details Evette Gabrielle Villella is responsible for art direction and illustration at Midlandia Press. She created the look of Midlandia’s cast of nearly 30 characters and is the lead character artist for the Tales of Midlandia picture book series. Joshua Perry is one of the illustrators for Midlandia Press, focusing on backgrounds and scene art for the Tales of Midlandia. He is the artistic lead on Midlandia Press’s iPad story apps. Dion Williams is a contributing artist in the Tales of Midlandia picture book series and the middle-grade novel Postcards from Pismo. Dion’s diverse background as an artist has enabled him to bring versatility and ingenuity to Midlandia Press. He has worked on high profile clients such as Disney, Warner Bros., and Nike.
